I grew up in Glengarriff in West Cork. I always found that I learned best in a practical environment so the Civil Engineering degree in CIT was a great choice for me. I enjoyed the hands-on approach which CIT offered whether it was in the labs or in class tutorials.

BEng in Environmental Engineering (CR055)I have always been passionate about the environment and the BEng in Environmental Engineering course gave me the tools to pursue it as a career. Currently I am continuing my studies in Process Engineering Management in LIT, hoping to combine my skills from both courses to improve industries effect on the environment.

MEng in Structural EngineeringI have started as a Graduate Structural Design Engineer with Arup Cork. I am currently working on the Horgan's Quay Residential project and in my short time working with Arup I have been able to implement so much of what I learned in CIT while completing my undergraduate and masters degree.
