I have just graduated with a degree in Marine Engineering from NMCI. During my time in college I completed my cadetship with Chevron Shipping. While on my cadetship I worked on LNG and oil tankers where I learned the necessary skills needed for a career at sea. I would like to thank the staff and lecturers in NMCI for helping me throughout my time in college, as well as all the staff from Chevron who gave me the experience I needed to be ready to start my career in Marine Engineering after college.

Having completed my degree at NMCI I am now employed as a Junior Electro-technical officer for the global energy company, Chevron. My role includes carrying out electrical and electronic maintenance, repairs, diagnosis, installation and testing on-board Chevrons fleet as they transport crude oil, LNG and refined products that power the world.

I am a Senior Analyst for Logistics and Trade Compliance with Stryker. My role supports transport and trade compliance activities across the Irish manufacturing sites. This year I am also continuing my studies with CIT, completing my Level 8 in Global Supply Chain Management.
